Brenda Moons has been the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute's (EI) vice president of lodging sales, since 1999. She joined EI in 1997 as a senior training consultant for sales and then served as vice president of production before assuming her current position.

Moons is responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction to EI lodging industry sales efforts, generating new accounts and maintaining existing accounts with hotel brands and management companies and developing training programs to meet clients' targeted needs.

Moons' background includes extensive experience in project management and instructional design, including design and development of computer-based training, interactive courseware, publications, and platform delivery. She was employed by several Orlando-based training organizations, including Lockheed Martin; Star Mountain, Inc.; Carley Corporation; and Interactive Media Corporation.

Brenda holds a BSBA degree in production management from Florida Southern College and a certificate of interactive courseware development from the American Film Institute in Hollywood, CA. She is a member of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART).
