Brenda L. Vazquez, senior vice president of marketing, with six years of experience in the field of marketing, and thirteen years experience in sales and product development, has been with the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) since 1999, where she joined the Information Technology department; she then moved to the Lodging Industry Sales department where her responsibilities also included Partner State Association liaison.

In 2002, Brenda was overseeing marketing for the Lodging and International markets.  In 2006, Brenda became senior director of marketing, where she currently oversees marketing for Orlando and Lansing.

Prior to joining AHLEI, Brenda was employed by Associated Merchandising Corporation in NY.  Her responsibilities included domestic and international sales, as well as quality assurance/control for product development. 

Her post-secondary education includes business classes at Florida Southern College.
