Educational Institute Offers Front Office Manager Online Training

Orlando, Florida, December 5, 2011 - The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute's new Front Office Manager online training program puts learners in control as they explore the many tasks and responsibilities of working a hotel's front office. The 10-hour, interactive, online program outlines the interactions between the front office and other hotel departments that are required to create a positive guest experience.

The program's self-paced, discovery-driven approach enables learners to determine the order in which they explore each area of the hotel and click on highlighted objects to learn about each facet of front office operations. The content is based on chapter material found in the EI textbook, Managing Front Office Operations, Eighth Edition, by Michael Kasavana and Richard Brooks. Front Office Manager includes ten content modules, a glossary of term, case studies, knowledge checks to test understanding, and quizzes for each module.

Individuals will have six-month access to the online program. The Front Office Manager program may be licensed to a brand; in that case, accessibility time frame may vary depending on the terms of the agreement. Front Office Manager will also serve as the online component for the Managing Front Office Operations textbook and can be packaged with either the print or eText version of the book. It may also be purchased independently of the textbook.

Front Office Manager is available for purchase through EI's online store for $105.00; AH&LA members pay $75.00 For more information, please visit http://www.ahlei.org. Or call 800-752-4567 or 517-372-8800. Outside the U.S. and Canada, please call 407-999-8100.
