There is no time in position requirement for the CGSP, making it ideal for onboarding and new employee orientation.
To qualify for the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP®) designation individuals must successfully complete one of AHLEI's three Guest Service Gold® training programs.
How to Apply
Property-Level Training: Group training requires the purchase of one of the instructor/facilitator Guest Service Gold® Training Programs, as well as participant packages (that include workbook and certification exam scan sheet), which are sold separately.
Guest Service Gold® training can be delivered in two to four hours in a group setting or as individual training.
Available in print and online formats.
The CGSP® exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions and candidates must achieve a minimum score of 70% to earn the CGSP® designation.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate and CGSP® lapel pin.
