HTM students are eligible to earn different types of portable credentials, each recognized by the global hospitality industry. These certificates align with higher level certifications offered by AHLEI. They open doors for students who want to become managers, executives, or professionals in hospitality.
There are no limits for students who get their start with HTM!
Certifications include:
- Hospitality Tourism Specialist: Students using the Hospitality and Tourism Management curriculum will be well prepared to take this exam.
- Guest Service Gold®: One of the most widely used training and credential programs in the industry. Guest Service Gold® prepares students to sit for the Certified Guest Service Professional exam.
- Guest Service Gold®: Golden Opportunities (specific to hotels and other lodging properties)
- Guest Service Gold®: Tourism (applicable to any business that participates in the tourism industry)
- START (Skills Tasks, and Results Training®): A collection of six flexible and concise trainings for key entry-level positions. Each training culminates in a certification exam and professional designation for the student.
